New York, a morning in mid-October, She wakes up alone in the room of a beautiful hotel right next to Central Park. This evening he will join her having arrived mid-afternoon from Europe.
She, Sarah, is in her late forties. He, Joe is ten years older, their relationship broke up a few years ago but she still loves him.
She has convinced him to give their love affair another chance, and has planned this reunion to try to rekindle their relationship.
The sequence of scenes illustrates the course of Sarah's day while waiting for Joe. Joy, impatience, and annoyance follow one another.
And will he come?
The Horny Strings Show was performed by the Big Band of Divonne, professional soloists and numerous choristers who took the audience on a night of legendary melodies, recreating the glory of Broadway shows.
More than forty musicians were on stage playing to a full house, to interpret the great American standards of 20th century jazz. Vocals, strings, brass, and woodwind blended harmoniously to transport the audience to the famous Times Square district for a New York style evening!
