Le Big Band de Divonne donnera un concert le 8 mai 2025 à Divonne-les-Bains à l’occasion des commémorations du 8 mai 1945.

Salle Jean Monnet – Saint Genis Pouilly
« Habitant de longue date à St Genis Pouilly, Alain Goy, le talentueux chef d’orchestre du BIG BAND de Divonne, n’avait jamais eu l’occasion de jouer dans sa ville de résidence.
La mairie de St Genis Pouilly et Monsieur Hubert Bertrand son actif maire, a décidé d’exprimer son soutien au projet en mettant à disposition la Salle Jean Monnet pour le concert qui aura lieu le 15 mars 2025.
La soirée promet d’être belle, grâce au groove envoûtant de la rayonnante Séverine VAENA accompagnée par les Swings endiablés du BIG BAND de Divonne, sous la direction de ALAIN GOY.
Les profits de la soirée, seront intégralement reversés au profit de la Ligue01 contre le cancer et utilisés principalement à la recherche et aux équipes du Centre Léon BERART, du CRCL et l’INSERM de Lyon et également son soutien aux personnes malades et aux proches aidants.
Venez nombreux à cet événement exceptionnel et soutenant une bonne cause.

Come and rediscover the tradition of the finest Christmas swing concerts with the Big Band de Divonne, accompanied by strings from the Maison de la Musique de Divonne. The voices of Séverine Vaëna and Franco Casagrande will bring out the colors and sparkle of Christmas.
From “Jingle Bells” to “Let It Snow”, not forgetting “Last Christmas” and “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, a unique gala concert full of emotion.

Jazz Big Band Festival (05-06-07/07/23)

The Big Band de Divonne, directed by Alain Goy, will perform on Saturday 06, July at 7 pm its new program recorded this spring, featuring original compositions and arrangements.
It will accompany sould singer Séverine Vaëna from Geneva for an exceptional Sould and Swing concert!

The Big Band was joined by a string orchestra to accompany the voices of Séverine Vaëna and Franco Casagrande, enabling us to offer, under the direction of Alain Goy, a unique concert in the finest tradition of Christmas shows.

To mark the start of summer, the Divonne-les-Bains tourist office and the Maison de la Musique de Divonne had organized two exceptional jazz concerts at the théâtre de Verdure.
On Saturday, July 1, the audience could listen to the Divonne Big Band conducted by Alain Goy, accompanied by Séverine Vaëna, a blues and jazz singer from Geneva.
On Sunday, July 2, the CMG Blues Brass, made up of talented students from the Geneva Conservatory of Music and directed by Laurent Fabre, closed this first edition.

Séverine Vaëna has sung with the Big Band de Divonne since 2019. The first encounter between singer and orchestra took place within the context of a musical theatre project and their collaboration has continued ever since.
